Kirstin, CVT

Hi!  My name is Kirstin, I am a CVT here at Rivertown and have been here for 2 1/2 years.  I have been a vet tech for 6 years.  I graduated in 2001 from Madison Area Technical College with an Associate's Degree in Applied Science for Veterinary Technology.  I have a special interest in dentistry, surgery and client care/education.  I grew up in Madison, WI and for as long as I can remember I've wanted to work with animals.  Becoming a CVT just made a lot of sense and I love it!

My love for animals doesn't just end at work...my husband Jeff and I have five pets of our own at home! 

Jasmine is our oldest black and white cat and is now is considered a senior!

We also have Spike & Stanley, our two rowdy boys-Spike is a black and white cat too (he looks almost identical to Jasmine) and Stanley is a Siamese. 

We adopted Nova in November 2006 and just learned through the Wisdom Panel DNA test for mixed breed dogs that she is an Old English Sheepdog mix!  (Could have fooled me!) 

Our newest addition is Alice, a Shih-Tzu/Poodle pup who has created quite a stir at home, but we love her just as much as we love the rest of our gang!
