Niki, Lead Technician

Hi!  My name is Niki and I am the Lead Technician at Rivertown Animal Hospital.  I was born and raised in Woodbury and have been working with Dr. Garlie since we opened the clinic in Dec of 1996. 

I knew I wanted to work with animals after my first job at the St. Croix Animal Shelter.  I really can't see myself doing anything different.  My special interests include veterinary dentistry.  I graduated from the Medical Institute of Minnesota (now known as Argosy University) in 1992. 

I have three Chihuahuas; "Gina," "Doddi" and "Andy," and one cat; "Boomer" that came into Rivertown as a stray.  I also have a quarter-horse named Hooch that lives on our family farm in Woodbury.

Outside of work I love spending time with my family and friends and just enjoying the outdoors!
